I had 2 custom garage doors designed and manufactured to my specifications. These doors were installed last fall and in the spring one of the windows fell out due to the weather. Barmac sent one of their members to look at the door to make sure that they ordered the right coloured glass as well arrange for the proper repair of the door. The gentleman that came not only replaced the broken glass but Barmac had him add an extra piece to the inside of all of the windows so that the issue would not occur again. The gentleman that did the repair had to do make a little mess in the garage, during the repair, but when he cleaned everything up before he left.

Both items were a complete bust within the year of installation!! One of the door panels fell off completely and the opener never worked properly from Day One! Barmac has been back a dozen times and unable to fix and will not replace obviously broken unit. Opener is now out of warranty so my cost to fix, brutal!! Never ever again!!

I called Barmac when my old garage door started to crumble. They took one look and let me know it would cost more to repair it than to replace it. The recommendation was to go with an insulated Amarr door made from steel.

It never occurred to me that an insulated door would make such a difference. Along with keeping the temperature more comfortable, the insulation seems to help cut down on the street noise. If you need a new door, call Barmac and ask about the insulated kind. They’ll help you find the right solution.

I was looking to replace my old garage door and openers. After shopping around for 2 months I decided to go with Barmac. Marisa from Barmac was very friendly and professional and gave me an excellent price for 2 Garage doors North Hatley from Garaga and 2 LiftMaster garage Door Openers.
The installation was done exactly at the agreed time.
One of the top cover mouldings was 3 mm short and they promptly ordered a new one and replace it.

Everything looks very good and functions perfectly 3 months after installation.

I had contacted Barmac to make me a custom wood garage door for my new home. They suggested a wood composite overlay door so that I can get a fully customizable panel (which I basically handed the design to them) Door shows up and it was terrible. They used probably the cheapest mdf you can buy, all the edges are rough and very jagged. It took the installer 3 attempts to get it installed and it looks like absolute garbage. Doesn't even close probably and sometimes it goes back up when going down. If I had another $2500 to burn, I would get the thing ripped out and replaced by a better company. (which I found and the guy who came to see my door basically laughed at the it) Barmac may be good for some builders special door, but on a million dollar plus home, look elsewhere.
