Home Depot - Burnaby

Currently doing a bathroom Reno and was wanting to tile the walls. Found ones I like online and inventory said had 147 in stock in Burnaby so headed down there. The guys actually working in that dpt had no idea whether they carried it or not and 1 employer even said that thy hadn't carried it in over 2 years. Frustrated wanted to know which other locations had in stocked. Asked the girl in the hardware dept. she told us she'd have a look. She found it within 2 min on the overstocks. Great employee!!! Only reason I still shop there!!!

Purchased a shower faucet, the box had a factory band on it. My plumber opened it up and found that someone had returned this item previously. There were parts missing, scratches, a general mess. The returns dept took back the item and was very apologetic.

Whenever we need a household item, whether it be a light bulb, plumbing needs etc. we always go to Home Depot as our first option. We know they have most things in store and have knowledgeable staff to assist us in solving our issue.

On this visit to Home Depot, I had questions for many of the sales people in each of the departments and every one of them was helpful and informative. I was impressed by how patient and helpful they were.

We built an office in NVAN and had Home Depot products for kitchen and chose to go with them for carpet too. Did a good job but scratched up the paint on the door and didnt offer to fix it. too bad, otherwise it would have been a great job.

In the last 2 years they always sell this cover in +/- 8.xx. But now they drop closer to their US market price around $ 3.xx. I really hope this is a good starting for us Canadian have been over charge so many years.

I went to Home Depot for a can of eggshell white paint because I ran out. I see one dented can of eggshell white so I, being me, went through the other cans to find an undented can. I went home and opened it and it was pink. Someone had opened it and mixed in other colours and had put it back on the shelf.

I went back to exchange it and brought it over to the paint mixers at Home Depot and she brought back the same dented can of eggshell white.

There was no fuss in doing the exchange, but I wish I did not had to make another trip.

I was trying to get a paintable caulking to fill gap between tile and wall. I was only trying to fill a short length so I want to get the smallest possible. I asked one of the store associates and he showed me where to get the smallest one possible, turn out the smallest ones were still 300ml, but it was relatively cheap. I worried that I don't be using it all up and will rest the rest of the tube, so I asked if there was any smaller ones, store associates told me that was the smallest, but he wasn't being very patient with my question. AFter all, the location of the store and hours was very convenience.

So.. needed to paint the guest room. Went in and got helped - helped me with which type of paint to get and the accessories. Felt like a boss.

Went home and painted the room in a day.
