The problem was analysed quickly and fixed..the problem well explained and recommendations made.
Overall: a very pleasant experience

Needed an electrician on a Sunday due to an awful, chemical-burning smell. I called a few electricians and no one was able to come until Monday. I then called Hi-Lite and they were very helpful. They asked me a few questions first to understand if my concerns were serious or could wait until the next day. It was decided that the matter needed to be taken care of asap. Two electricians arrived - they were very professional and helpful. They explained what they were doing as they worked. It turned out that some of the breakers were starting to heat up and burn - my entire panel needed to be replaced due to a mismash of breakers, some old and unsafe, that the previous electrician had installed. The situation was made temporarily safe and they arrived the very next day with a brand new panel. Very professional and I feel so much more safe now.

I had an emergency on Boxing day where I lost power to my condo. I couldn't get it back on so I need an electrician very fast. I landed on Hi-Lite Electric through google. Angie was very helpful and there was an electrician at my place in just over an hour (which was great because it was a freezing cold day and I no longer had any heat). The electrician was very helpful and went above and beyond to get my power back. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

I called Hi-Lite Electric, because I was having an electrical issue, the technician they sent out to me was Matthew – He was GREAT! Arrived on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up completely after himself, showed me what needed to be repaired, explained the whole process and explained all the fees. Matthew represents the company VERY WELL. I am in a “service” position and the people I send out to our customers represent our company’s name and standards – so I know how important an excellent team member can be – So, when I think of your company (Hi-Lite Electric), I think of Matthew!

Very pleasurable experience. They called back quickly on my initial inquiry and scheduled my appointment for the next day. Two electricians showed up on time and performed the work quickly and cleanly. They showed me what they were doing and explained why, and explained things about the relevant electrical code as they worked. They were even courteous enough to let me know when they were flipping the breakers so I could power down my computer.. I never got that "being taken for a ride" feeling you sometimes get with contractors. I will definitely use them again when I need more electrical work done.
