We had Enercare......and we sold our house.
Cancelled Enercare - took 3 reps to do it...one said we had to provide a "certified" copy of our sale papers....right...you will get those.
They said we owed $150 for "service" (a 15 vacuuming of our furnace that is covered under the contract). Got them to admit that it was covered and they said the charge was removed.
Got a bill from Enercare for the cleaning - $150.00.
Called again...they said the invoice will be cancelled.
Got a past due notice for the cleaning invoice that was cancelled.
Called Enercare. They said we do NOT have anything on our account and the account had been closed. Ignore the notice. Got another past due notice. Called back again.
They have tried to get us to pay for invoices AFTER the new owners took possession of our house. I have talked to a total of 18 "Customer Service " reps to get things straightened.
I asked 3 of them if they consider talking to over a dozen people is considered good customer service. 2 admitted that the service was terrible and 1 said - and I quote "I don't have to take this harassment" and hung up! They consider it harassment if you question their customer service or lack there of.
Got ANOTHER over due notice......so I am currently trying to talk to "customer service" rep # 19.
It has been 2 months since the closing date of our house and we don't even live in Ontario anymore!!
