I have been paying for Maintenance care with Direct Energy for many years. I am about to sell my home so I scheduled my annual maintence call to ensure all was okay - I did not tell the Service Tech that I was selling - He called me down to show me the beginning of a crack in the heat exchanger and although he did not shut me down he said I needed a new furnace asap and provided me with the card for one of their sales reps. I thought now what to do. I mentioned this to my Real Estate Agent and they recommended I call AtlasCare for a second opinion and if I needed a new furnace they would help me out much better than DE. I talked to Steve Youdowitch who suggested we get the tech to check my furnace first and then go from there. Nimo arrived the same day and I explained I wanted a second opionion. Nimo thoroughly checked the furnace, going back many times to be sure he wasn't missing anything but the end result was he could not find any markings resembling what could be a possible crack. He assured me that it would not be leaking any carbon dioxide but as the furnace was 15 years old it should probably be replace in the next 3-5 years. I was so relived as I had not slept well since learning of the possible crack. Nimo was extremely calming and reassuring which I really appreciated. Thank you for your extraordinary service!!!!
